There are two approaches into helping these animals.
1. Donate to organizations for further research:
There is little we know about the Snow Leopards because they are a highly shy species. It is very rare to site them in the wild, and researchers are trying to find new discoveries that could propel a new solution. The more we learn about this shy species, the more we can hopefully help keep the population alive. Research takes a lot of time, dedication, and money. All of the organizations above accept donations for this cause.
2. Donate to organizations to educate/help the poachers:
Most of these poachers are local people who live in poverty, so they turn to illegal hunting to provide some economic stability. Organizations, like the Snow Leopard Trust and Snow Leopard Conservancy, visit the locals who live near Snow Leopard habitats and educate them on how to help the Snow Leopards instead of hurting them. They also bring replacement solutions in helping the local families economically such as teaching new occupations and creating safe houses for their livestock.
